The event was held at Targore Auditorium in Osmania University. It was nice to see hundreds of students throng the hallways to hear about latest in C/C++ and embedded systems. The demos were very well received and DirectX based games and Bluetooth based remote keyboard were seen to have stirred those present. It is our sincere hope that students grab the opportunities and make most of it by learning new things and building products of tomorrow. That completes our tour for VS Express Editions in 2005.

Embedded World 2006 was organized at Nurnberg, Messe. Getting there via German public transportation system was really easy. The exhibition and technical events were hosted in a series of halls. Keynote address on 14th February by Jerry McGuire of Analog Devices stressed on need for convergence of MCU and DSP worlds. He touted that their Blackfin architecture fits the bill. Most technical talks were dominated by German and French speakers. Communicating their thoughts across to the world audience was obviously not very easy for them.

We were greeted with students at JNTU with great enthusiasm. There were more than 800 participants at the venue. The auditorium could hold only 200! Finally more than 300 people were permitted in the hall. Of them many sitting on the floor not a place to be found. The event was very well received with live demonstrations that thrilled those who attended and letting them know what they could do. Organizers promised the participants that they will get us to their campus once again in near future. Thanks to all the students at JNTU for their love and affection.
